Pine Agritech's Q1 profit surges 115%

PINE Agritech's net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007 surged 115 per cent to 146.5 million yuan. Revenue rose by 81.2 per cent to 405.4 million yuan from 223.7 million yuan a year ago, due to capacity expansions and better demand, fuelling management's optimism for 2007.
