Pine Agritech Doubles Profit

FRESH from making its debut on the mainboard last Thursday, China-based Pine Agritech has reported that net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 doubled to 48.2 million yuan (S$9.9 million) from a year ago.

The manufacturer of soya bean-based products also said over the weekend that sales swelled 87 per cent to 171.7 million yuan.
