Novena shareholder cuts stake

PHUA Siew Hua, a substantial shareholder of Novena Holdings, sold a total of 784,000 shares in the furniture group on Oct 17 and Oct 22 in the open market.

She sold 502,000 shares at around 34 cents each on Oct 17, reducing her deemed shareholding to almost zero from 0.63 per cent.

On Oct 22, she sold 282,000 shares at 32.15 cents, paring her direct shareholding to 7.75 per cent or 6.2 million shares, from 8.1 per cent.

Novena closed half a cent lower at 31 cents on Thursday.
