About Middle East Development Singapore Limited (MEDS)
(Formerly known as Hitchins Group Limited)

Founded in 1932 as Hitchins Group Ltd, a leading waterproofing specialist in Singapore, the company was renamed Middle East Development Singapore Limited (MEDS) in January 2007 when Middle East Development LLC (MED LLC) became a controlling shareholder of the company. MEDS’
scope of activities has now expanded to encompass project management, property development and the manufacture of waterproofing and building protection products. The future growth areas of the Group will be in property and/or infrastructural development projects in the Middle East region, Singapore and the PRC.

About Middle East Development L.L.C ("MED")
MED is a leading real estate developer in the Middle East with their headquarters in Dubai. MED has a multi-faceted organization involved in real estate development, project management and investment. This encompasses development of land for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes as well as contracting, project finance, mergers and acquisitions. It has ongoing projects having completion value in excess of US$1 billion.
