MAINBOARD-LISTED ISDN Holdings, a specialist in motion control and industrial computing, yesterday reported an impressive set of first-quarter results, driven by the strong demand for automation in Chinese factories.
Net profit for the three months ended March 31 surged 58 per cent to $1.59 million, while first-quarter revenue rose 61 per cent to $16.67 million.
'It looks as if we are on track to achieve our growth targets for 2006, and we are confident of reaching our goal to double our profit from 2005 to 2008,' ISDN managing director and president Teo Cher Koon said in a statement yesterday.
