NEW EXEC VP AT HYFLUX

SAM ONG: Appointed as group executive vice-president and chief investment officer of Hyflux.

He will head the company's utilities division and take charge of mergers and acquisitions, risk management and investor relations.

Mr Ong, who is the president of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore), was previously the senior finance director of Dow Chemical Pacific (Singapore).
