How can the proposed nationwide wireless broadband network benefit your organisation, and you personally? Is there more that can be done to make it even better?

OBVIOUSLY with the wireless broadband network being available throughout the island, it will make it easier for anyone to access information more readily. While I felt that Singapore has been a big late in moving towards this direction given that we are a small island city, this is nonetheless a significant step being taken by the government.

For our organisation and for me personally, it will mean that we can access emails and market information without having to return to the office. It will also allow us to react to information more immediately, thus resulting in more time saving and efficiency. Making it available free of charge is an important first step as it will encourage more people to use it.
