How is journalism, in particular business journalism, changing?CEO Wee Piew shares his thoughts on business reporting in the future. Aug 14, 2006 The Business Times Globalisation and the widespread availability of the Internet has led to the flattening of the world. The world has become significantly smaller and very interconnected. In the face of this increasing interconnectivity, journalism, including business journalism, has to be acutely aware of what is happening in different parts of the world and its impact on business in Singapore and South-east Asia. BT has been in the forefront of business journalism in Singapore since its inception. Although BT already has extensive coverage of the two awakening Asian giants, China and India, I think an individual page devoted to each country would be very useful to readers. A China Page, for example, could include the latest corporate and regulatory developments of that country. Wee Piew
