HG Metal's net profit falls 67%, despite revenue doublingNov 24, 2005The Straits Times HG METAL Manufacturing has seen its net profit dive 67 per cent to $5.5 million, despite a near doubling of revenue to $341 million for the year ended Sept 30. Earnings per share fell to 3.39 cents from 14.62 cents, while net asset value per share decreased to 28.78 cents from 35.61 cents as at Sept 30 last year. A final dividend of one cent per share and a special dividend of 0.25 cent per share were declared.
