Cynthia Tan buys more HG Metal sharesJuly 20, 2004The Business Times CYNTHIA Tan Kwee Hiang, deputy managing director of Links Island Holdings and the wife of former Links Island chairman Winstedt Chong Thim Pheng, bought some 209,000 shares in HG Metal Manufacturing last Friday at an undisclosed price. The two emerged as substantial shareholders of steel stockist and distributor HG Metal Manufacturing last month. Ms Tan first became a substantial shareholder of HG Metal in May, and her direct and deemed stake in the company now stands at 7.57 per cent, up from 7.42 per cent. HG Metal shares were unchanged yesterday, closing at 36.5 cents.
