Cosco sets up new subsidiary in China

COSCO Corporation announced yesterday that it set up a new subsidiary in Zhoushan, China on Jan 1 with a registered and paid-up capital of 520 million yuan (S$102.3 million), funded internally by Cosco. The principal activities of the subsidiary, Cosco Zhoushan, are ship-repairing, ship-building and marine engineering in Zhoushan.
