Cosco wins $166m of ship conversion jobs

COSCO Corp has won six ship conversion deals worth a total of US$106 million (S$166 million).

The contracts are worth between US$5 million and US$38 million each and involve conversions of oil tankers, container ships and roll-on/roll-off vessels.

The conversions will be carried out at the company's shipyards at Dalian, Nantong and Zhoushan.
