Cosco's quarterly profit climbs a quarter to $71.5m

COSCO Corp said third-quarter net profit rose 26 per cent to $71.5 million on the back of a 35 per cent increase in sales to $317.8 million.

Earnings per share climbed to 3.23 cents from 2.58 cents last year, while net asset value per share reached 28.79 cents as at Sept 30, up from 23.65 cents as at Dec 31 last year.
