Challenger chief adds to holding

THE chief executive officer of Challenger Technologies, Loo Leong Thye,
yesterday bought 200,000 more shares from the open market at 17 cents
apiece.
This raised his direct shareholding in the computer and IT products retailer
to
42.41 per cent, or around 65.1 million shares, from 42.28 per cent. Mr
Loo has
been steadily buying shares of Challenger since mid-April. Challenger,
which is
currently trading below its initial public offering price of 23 cents,
yesterday closed one cent lower at 16 cents.
