How well are organisations in your industry rewarding their employees this year? Do you expect wages to rise significantly next year?

AT Best World, we adopt a monthly cash incentive plan to motivate and encourage all staff by allowing them to share in the income derived from the sales effort. This plan has served us well ever since we implemented it a few years ago. An important point, in our view, is that there is no maximum that can be earned. We do not want to put a ceiling on our employees' efforts. Additionally, if we achieve the sales we can afford to reward them. Looking forward, we have announced that our employees will get an extra one to six months variable bonus every year. This variable bonus will take into consideration our group sales turnover and individual performance.
