Finalists for HRM Awards announced

FINALISTS for the human resource industry's equivalent of the Oscars were announced yesterday. The HRM Awards, which are in their fourth year, are organised by Key Media and presented by HSBC Insurance. More than 5,800 nominations were made this year by over 1,000 HR and related business professionals, which were narrowed down to a shortlist of 71 finalists spread over 14 categories, including Best HR Team, Best Mature Workforce Practices and Best Employer Branding.

Last year's winner of the Employer of Choice award, The Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore, makes a return to the shortlist, alongside Agilent Technologies, Hewlett Packard, IBM Singapore, Shell Eastern and Standard Chartered Bank. Making a debut are Barclays Capital, Apex-Pal International, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Olam International. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Feb 2.
